Have you lost a job? Don’t lose your perspective!

Have you lost a job? Don’t lose your perspective!

You are still the same powerful person who made your life work before.

Don’t lose sight of who you are.  Keep being that same steady person that people around you find loveable and valuable.  A job can be replaced, it is not a life or a limb.  Keep your sense of who you are.  Keep moving and keep moving forward.  You hold a deck of cards in your hands and you have lost at one hand.  However, you hold many more talents in the other cards in your hand.  It is time to play a new hand.  Lay down new talents in the game of life and you’ll get different results this time around.  Consider all the talents you hold.  What is your true passion or calling?  Now is the time to find it.  Loss can be our teacher and point us to other avenues in life that desperately need our attention.

Feel vulnerable?

Well the truth is you need to make yourself even more vulnerable to get through this.  You’ll have to let everyone know your looking and it will open doors for you.  People are drawn to true vulnerability because they realize that you are the raw material of who they are staring back at them.  You haven’t done anything wrong, even if you failed to make the sales happen or your boss satisfied.  If the job was or wasn’t the best fit for you you now get to choose who you are going to be in the midst of this crisis.  You get to be open or closed off, courageous or discouraged, embracing new opportunities or shut down.  You can face this and choose to create who you are in the midst of it.  You will come out on the other side stronger, better and more confident.  Never waste a crisis as there is always a huge opportunity for growth and dynamic change in the midst of it.  Come along with me and become a believer in the endless possibilities for your life.  You were destined for great things and a coach can help you discover what is next for you in the game of life.
