Coaching 101

What is business coaching? Why do you need a coach?

Coaching is the opportunity to work with a professional to set SMART goals (specific, measurable, acheivable, results-oriented and timely).

Business coaching includes accountability, action plans to move forward in 30, 60 or 90 days.  Coaches ask the ten most powerful questions such as

  • What do you want?
  • What is stopping you from getting you your desired outcome?
  • What are your current resources?
  • What will getting what you want do for you?
  • How can you move forward and what are three action steps you will take this week to get closer to your desired outcome?

Learn how to more effectively manage your time, be a better leader, organize your schedule etc.

Coaches can administer tests such as the following:

  • Time Managment
  • Leadership Skills
  • Organization
  • Personality Tests
  • Career Projection Exercises

A coach can assist with team building exercises and conflict resolution in the workplace.
